Workshops
Bring the frameworks to your team.
Two workshops built on the same principle that guides Maryam's coaching: leadership starts with leading yourself. One focuses on emotional intelligence. The other on communication.
What a workshop is
Not a talk from a stage.
This is active development work. Maryam brings the same evidence-informed approach she uses one-to-one into the room with your team, giving leaders a framework, a shared language, and the opportunity to examine how they actually show up with one another.
Choose the work your team needs.
Framework 01
Emotional Intelligence
Emotional intelligence becomes practical when leaders can recognize how it shows up in themselves and in the people around them. The work starts with self-awareness and expands outward to how people manage pressure, read others, communicate, and build relationships.
The workshop makes EQ accessible through four interconnected areas:
- Self-awareness: Seeing your own patterns clearly.
- Self-management: Working with what you notice instead of being driven by it.
- Social awareness: Reading people and situations with greater accuracy.
- Relationship management: Turning awareness into trust, collaboration, and difficult conversations handled well.
Outcome: A shared language for understanding emotion, behavior, and pressure, and a team better equipped to name what's happening rather than work around it.
Framework 02
Effective Communication
A framework for how leaders actually connect. Not a collection of communication tips, but focused work on the behaviors that determine whether people feel heard, understood, and able to speak honestly.
- Listening beneath the words: Hearing what someone means, not only what they say.
- Saying the hard thing well: Being honest and direct while preserving trust and respect.
- Reading the room: Understanding where people actually are rather than assuming they're where you need them to be.
- Being understood: Checking that the message landed, not simply that it was delivered.
“I don't know of any workshop more comprehensive than yours on communication.” From a returning client, on booking it for her team.
Leaders are being asked to lead like coaches.
Organizations increasingly need leaders who can do more than direct, decide, and deliver. They need leaders who know how to listen, ask better questions, create psychological safety, develop others, and make room for people to think, not simply tell them what to do.
Create psychological safety
People do their best thinking when they can ask questions, raise concerns, disagree, and make mistakes without unnecessary interpersonal risk. Leaders have an outsized influence on those conditions through how they listen, respond, communicate, and handle challenge.
The workshop helps leaders recognize the behaviors that strengthen psychological safety, and the ones that can quietly undermine it.
Lead yourself first
Leaders bring their own patterns into every room they enter. Under pressure, those patterns become even more visible.
The work starts with self-awareness because how you manage yourself shapes how you communicate, how you respond to others, and ultimately how others experience your leadership.
Built around your team's needs.

Multi-session series
A sustained development experience for teams or leadership cohorts that want to move beyond awareness and build new practices over time.
Designed for teams and leadership cohorts.
Leadership teams

Organizations investing in leadership development
For organizations looking for leadership development that combines evidence-informed frameworks, facilitated reflection, and practical application, led by an experienced executive coach and certified emotional intelligence practitioner.
